The Collection
This image collection taken from old photographs and postcards provides a unique look into the everyday life of Cornwalls Rame Peninsula during the last 100 years.

The Rame Heritage collection includes numerous images of old Cawsand, Kingsand, Millbrook, Cremyll, Rame, Mount Edgcumbe and Torpoint dating back to about 1870.

The website now has seamless access into the Francis Frith collection that contains over 365,000 photographs of some 7,000 towns and villages throughout Britain, with photographs taken between 1860 and 1970.

Our Aim

Is to grow the image collection by involving the local community such that these treasures of the past are preserved forever.

If you have any old photographs or postcards that depict life on the Rame Peninsula in years gone by (regardless of condition) then please contact us. We would love to hear from you.
