
Some local residents feel that the proposed developments in Cremyll (sponsored by Cornwall County Council and Plymouth City Council) may be detrimental to the amenities that the residents of the Rame Peninsula currently enjoy.
The local residents welcome the idea of this gateway to Cornwall being tidied up. The proposed works, however, seem likely to adversely affect the vital Cremyll Ferry as currently operated and would also mean the loss of the well loved 'Ice Cream Kiosk' that has operated at at Cremyll for many generations (see picture above). We have been made aware that a petition to save the kiosk has just been created and can be found on the link below.
