Gracie Fields in the 1930’s was a regular visitor to Cawsand and at times stayed at Granny Carters house. Here she is seen with old fishermen Albert Andrews, Bill May, Bill Cullis, Harry Marks and Tregethan Brothers Bob and Nicky. A well known stage, radio and film star of the 30’s and 40’s she was fondly associated with a song called SALLY
