Old houses at Dodbrook - long since demolished. The Blight family lived at Dodbrook house. The old houses in this area were built in the 1600s and stable type front doors were fitted. Charles 1st stayed in Manor Farm while he was on the run from Cromwell. It is said that after the king had left, the staff at Mount Edgecumbe removed the bed which he had occupied
