BRITANNIA AND HIBERIAN - here we see the Britannia lying off Foss Point to allow the equally crowded Hibernia to remain on her course in the deep channel. Although seats were available on Hibernia’s hurricane bridge, passengers were rarely admitted. No doubt a disappointment to many younger passengers.
